Diane is an Award Winning Artist, residing in South Florida who has roots to the coastal New England area of Massachusetts!

Like many kids growing up, she possessed a love of drawing and was extremely inspired by the subject of Art!

A mixed life with both joy, and tragedy would affect the direction and path her life would take.

Diane pursued a very exciting and rewarding career into the Emergency Medicine field and Fire Fighting where she affectionately received the nickname “Lady Di”

Her passion to create was reignited and she embarked on an informative journey of comprehensive art training, attending many classes, workshops and receiving professional mentoring instruction. Her evolution of Art accomplishments included years of jewelry making and painting with Acrylic, to working in additional mediums such as oils, and gouache.

Some of her favorite historical artists include George Stubbs, Manet, C Monet, van Gogh, Matisse, Homer and Hopper.

Diane’s paintings portray drama and are influenced by the effects of sunlight and shadow and the emotion in bright colors that sparks the inspiration and mood she tries to convey in her works.

Her choice of subjects comes mostly from nature, including Animals and Plants ,Salt Life, Still Life, and Architecture.

Diane travels and enjoys Plein Air painting and capturing spectacular photographs to archive for future studio work.

Her medium can include any mixture of oils, acrylics, gouache or watercolor.

Some of her most rewarding moments result from having an affiliation with several Animal Rescue organizations that use her acquisition pieces for fundraising.
